Latest Movie My Friend Pinto Review

So we jump directly to the My Friend Pinto and as far as the story goes, the main building [yes, there is more than one] is about Michael Pinto [Prateik Babb] Goan boy, who shook the world, because his beautiful mother has passed away. It is so sad. But wait, there's a bright side. With no one else to turn Pinto decided to go big, bad city of Mumbai in search of his childhood friend Sameer urff (ACT), Sam [Arjun Mathura]. Along the way, keeps the memory of the life of Don [Makrana Deshpande], save a dog that has been the mouse said Don [Divya Dutta], but the process of losing your wallet, and essentially becomes a magnet for trouble, all in one night. Throw in a few life lessons, sweet-and-coming dancer / lady love named Maggie [Kalki Koechlin] and some of the songs, and voila, you have a light merry laugh-a-thon. Not quite.

Once in the noble intentions are not NOK to make an impression on the big screen. For My Friend Pinto, the simpleton story of the big bad city to be easy, but it is not all that entails. But if it adds some [or more] less interesting subplot to the parties to the negotiations, the potion that makes the movie just does not work. Okay, so maybe I'll skip forward a bit and have a large hard. After all, sometimes you have to look at the simple things in life to enjoy. Maybe Sanjay Leela Bhansali has decided that after a short distance from his larger than life canvas movies deep, meaningful and real stories about people's feelings. Maybe he wanted to do something a little different, lighter, some fresh talent coming Prateik Babb and Kalki Koechlin as leadership roles. Noble intent is actually the movie really about to see the other good people, friendship, and create your own destiny. Alas, my friend Pinto SLB does not work so well on that front either.

This does not mean that everything is bad. Yes, this will cause a smile or two here and there. But the confusing plot, more characters, which is half finished and situations that you see happening, it would not be difficult to remember all of them after you've left the movie. Is the acting front, Prateik improving every film, and sometimes if you do not feel that it is not as innocent as Pinto, is a sincere attempt to be charming. Kalki is NOK screen space to do it on his or her needs and what is the character itself is more sketchy. Makrana plays Don's memory can be funny on paper but on screen, it does not sit very well. Divya Dutta, and it certainly deserves better than Shruti Seth Prateik hostility is not explained well, so her character a bit annoying. The rest is just so so.

Pretty much everything under the indefensible, it is not going to be easy to store. Editors Shan Mohammed and Dipika Kalra recommended to try a piece it back together in a way, but unfortunately can not. Film has a unique shot it and it is welcome. Unfortunately, players write such a letdown visual. Music by Ajay-Atul leaves too much to be desired, although this seems to flow OK movie. What has been reviewed by the debut of My Friend Pinto, director Raghav Dhar? Well, there had been a little more to Kalki character / relationship to the mother, or perhaps the right material is worth a laugh Makrana and team work, a nice comfy couch and popcorn-worthy film that may be. But for all that you are left with is the idea that the movie would be funny and charming, but it was not.

My Friend Pinto is still a long way to go before he gets NOK audience.
