At anniversary plans feds wants to launch war of 1812

New monument in the capital and a series of memorial events has announced plans on Tuesday to the federal character of the war of two hundred years 1812th.








Heritage Minister James Moore, the government revealed details of planned events in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ONT. Historical Canadian campaign to educate and integrate the fight.



"We did not do enough to protect this country teaches the history of our past, have children and find a good history in this country and the important moments of our past," says Moore. "This n 'is a better example of what the war in 1812. Too Canadians know the importance of war in 1812. It fights in Canada."



The federal government's passage of 200 years after the war in 2012 in a big way and the next four years he spends 28 million dollars as follows:

Education campaigns by war.

Supports up to 100 pageants, festivals and local events.
1812 a permanent memorial in Ottawa.
Interactive tours, monthly exhibits, and improvements to three national historic sites across the country.
Invest in infrastructure for large sites of conflict in 1812, as Fort York and Fort Mississauga, Ontario.
October 2012 was also the month of Remembrance and Moore named Sir Isaac Brock, Charles-Michel de Salaberry, Tecumseh, Laura Secord, and that some heroes were honored at this time.

Moore said that 1812 was a moment of Canadian history and a specialist police to let the English and French Canadians and non-abriogeenide worked for the British Army, the American attacks successfully denied.

"Without the war in 1812 in Canada as we know it's there," says Moore.
