Latest Car Review : Nissan Sunny

Monday, September 19, 2011

The picturesque seaside village of Mahabalipuram were scattered stone-rich background of firsthand experience with Sunny, Nissan, premium sedan in India. Home Cave temples, monolithic carved sculptures and architectural character stands for excellence in Mahabalipuram Pallava dynasty. As the sculptures in Mahabalipuram, sunny and well-shaped eye-catching exterior, each line cut to perfection.

The attractive and elegant, with the signature Nissan grille and jewel-like headlamps, pronounced Sunny shows high beltline running from the slopes of the headlights, with an elegantly sloping roof behind, giving the coupe action. Out back, the trunk offers a healthy 490 liters of space, but not at all bulky. Thanks to a streamlined and rear lights that sweep back to the rear fender, you might even mistake it for a quick look at the Teana luxury model.

Inside Sunny USP of the place, especially in the back seat. You can cross your legs comfortably, even if the front seats are pushed back fully. You agree to Nissan's claim that the interior matches the BMW 5-Series or Mercedes-Benz E-Class. But Sunny is a lot of the Micra. After the dash, and the music system / C vents are downtown, everything else is pretty much been inherited from the Micra. Dashboard suffer from granite-hard surfaces, rough, and cost measures. Music is a basic system, sans Bluetooth or USB support.

These small errors, but is overshadowed by the best security devices in its class. Available in XE, XL and XV, and offers Sunny ABS, EBD, brake assist driver air bag, and all three variants. Common options for providing passenger airbags, air conditioning, remote-mounted mirrors and power-adjusted. As Micra, XV, keyless entry and push the start / stop button and 15-inch alloy wheels.
Another feature worth mentioning, is behind the comfort of a two-speed fan that draws cool air from the cabin, and advertise it in the back seat.

Road Test

Behind the wheel, Sunny impress your smooth, quiet ride and is good at challenging roads. Only the sea, is a flutter of wind noise noticeable even 120 kmph, but some road noise interferes with rough surfaces, it has never bothered. Independent front MacPherson struts and an independent torsion beam rear rather than to seek a balance of comfort and control - I felt a little body roll in sharp turns speed though.

1.5-liter gasoline engine produces 98 hp at 6000 rpm and 134 Nm of torque at 4000rpm, making it more powerful than many other segments. Fleshy part of the low-end torque speed range, making it responsive and easy to maneuver. Gear ratios, however, is not in favor of highway cruising. Shifting is not smooth either.

Overall, it is difficult to think of the box, Nissan Sunny, do not cross. Timing is everything when it comes to a successful car launches - so it will be to introduce a sort unfortunate Nissan Sunny hot on the heels of rising gasoline prices. And it gives us hope for a long time before the diesel option, although Nissan is now on the mother.
