Unattended bags create security scare At Shivaji International Airport

Mumbai: The two events are unattended bags at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport security scare created here and sent to officers working overtime. Both events took place on Friday. First of all, the ladies unattended bag discovered in the car pick-up points around the airport terminal 1B 7:15 p.m.


Bomb Squad team immediately rushed to the spot and was warned to check the bag. It was declared safe after about an hour, said an official. Barely two hours later, around 22:30, was the second child unattended bag found nearby.


After the bomb disposal team squad checked it and found nothing dangerous was all clear signal to 23:15. "We are so unused bags. They returned to the applicants after verification of identity," said the official. Vital installations in and around Mumbai have been thrown under a blanket security measures after the blast outside the Delhi High Court Wednesday that left 13 dead and nearly 90 wounded. 


Moreover, the security agencies around the country ready for the immersion ceremony of Lord Ganapati idols lakhs at the end of the 11-day festival on Sunday Ganeshotsav.
