Pakistan threatens To block The Google And Youtube For Non-Cooperation

Islamabad: A hot Internet search engine Google, and sites like YouTube could be closed in Pakistan, if they do not cooperate with authorities in the investigation of crime and incidents of terrorism, Interior Minister Rehman Malik warned.





Malik comments at the head of the research agency of the federal government here in conjunction with suppliers.He urged the sites to help extend the powers to destroy terrorism in the country.



The government would be forced to block certain sites such as YouTube and Google search engine, if not expand cooperation with the authorities, Malik said.


Taliban and other terrorist organizations with distributed intelligence via the Internet, and it is therefore necessary to curb their activities, he said.

Malik does not give information on crimes and incidents of terrorist websites could provide information.New television also quoted Mr. Malik said he had been given to the fact that the case was registered against the director of Pakistan Google.

The Minister met with criticism and ridicule of civil society and rights groups in the most recent reviews.

Malik had recently claimed that the jealous girlfriends, and women, rather than groups or criminals were responsible for most of the goals of killings in the southern port city of Karachi
