Google Buys Boost business

Google acquired the venerable publisher of Zagat-rated restaurants to increase their online maps and local business information reliably reviews and recommendations for users to find and more important.






"Zagat is the cornerstone of the local supply - encouraging people to its impressive number of comments, notes and ideas, while allowing people everywhere to find a wonderful (and regular) experience around the corner and around the world," wrote Marissa Mayer, Google director of the local, maps and location services, blog.



Google acquired Zagat, which was founded in 1979, thanks to its brand reputation and the quality of learning and assessment, which he published in print and online guides. Contract terms were not disclosed.

Known for its restaurant ratings, Zagat survey on consumers' quality of hotels, nightclubs and other entertainment-oriented businesses.

Comments online buyers have found it useful yet controversial for years, as companies often complain about the motives and validity of the negative messages in the business.

Some review sites are the most popular Yelp, TripAdvisor, citysearch, Angie and the list. Google allows users to criticism of its local business listings, links and clips will appear again check out the site as well.
