Toll free Helpline Launched By SEBI In 14 Languages

Mumbai: Market regulator SEBI has launched a toll-free hotline for investors to provide advice and assistance on a variety of topics, such as complaints and share transfers.

Number - 1800227575 - available to investors from all over India in 14 languages​​, said the Securities and Exchange Board of India notification today.




This service can be used to seek advice on issues relating to questions on developments in other regulatory bodies that are not obvious SEBI complaint and obtain information on opening demat account and accepted.


Investors can receive instructions on various techniques such as transmission and delivery of shares and initial public offering (IPO).

The first service is available in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Bengali, Malayalam, Telugu, Urdu, Oriya and Punjabi.

Service to Kannada, Assamese and Kashmir will soon begin, SEBI said.

The hotline is available for free on weekdays, Monday through Friday, 9:30 to 5:30.
