The leaders say they intend to market the average consumer. Instead, they seek to rickshaw drivers, engines, and a short distance taxis operate in India. RE60 offers features not found in the rickshaw model, including belts, doors and hard top. It will be in Windows, they fold up and roll down.

The company has not said how much it will cost RE60 hit showrooms this year. But rickshaw costs about 120,000 rupees, or $ 2200, and analysts' estimates that 25 percent of cars RE60 would be more expensive than, or about $ 2,750.

But RE60 is expected to more than souped rickshaw. This is a comprehensive response to the Tata Nano is expected to Bajaj. Nano, Tata Motors, the manufacturers in 2009, was reported to be a car that people want the mobility of the Indian masses. It sells its suggested retail price of around $ 2600.

But analysts said Hormazd Sorabjee RE60 Nano is an issue which attracted only a fraction of consumers of Tata is expected due to delays in production and safety.

"After seeing the RE60, to understand what a wonderful performance of the Nano," said Mr. Sorabjee editor of Autocar India, a car magazine. RE60, "is not nearly full size car Nano. It is clear that simply do not have well-developed nanotechnology."

But the leaders of Bajaj suggested that basically the point is - the best, and not stretch a technical marvel that might not fit the facts to produce.
