‘Real Steel’ Movie get weekend's No. 1 Movie
Sunday, October 9, 2011Movie Review : Soundtrack Review
Saturday, October 8, 2011
Starring: Rajeev Khandelwal, Soha Ali Khan, Mrunalini Sharma, Mohan Kapoor, Manu Rishi
Director: Neerav Ghosh
Producer: Sanjiv Goenka, Apurva Nagpal
Music: Kailash Kher, Vishal Vaid
Rating: ***
Based on true events, the story revolves around Raunak Kaul (Rajeev Khandelwal), an aspiring musician from a small town with big dreams. He starts his journey in the world of music as a DJ in Tango Charlie -a big-time club in Mumbai, owned by Charlie (Mohan Kapoor.) Destiny takes Raunak to early rise to riches and fame, but not without its hard downfall as well. A lifestyle of excessive sex and substance abuse takes its toll, leading Raunak to permanent disability. Is he able to come out of abysses of his disability? How?
‘Soundtrack’ does not claim any megastar cast. However, Rajeev Khandelwal has been able get to the heart of the character and pull it off flawlessly. Soha Ali Khan as Gauri – a savior and a messiah for Raunak when he is in despair, has depicted nuances of a deaf girl with such subtlety and dexterity that even lisp in her diction sounds convincing. Mrunalini Sharma – as Raunak’s girlfriend, does not have much to.
Neerav Ghosh, a debutant director, shows a promising career ahead of him. He has shown his grip on the subject right from the opening shot where Raunak and his passion for music are introduced. Though, Neerav has created some really innovative camera moves, at some points, he seems to be repetitive and overdoing - especially, in the first part.
Storyline is appealing; and dialogues -particularly in the second half, are impressive.Music of this musical drama, even though, syncs well with the temperament of the story, leaves much to expect.Overall, ‘Soundtrack’ is a worth watch for meaningful and sound cinema lovers.
Review Of the Movie Love Breakups Zindagi
Thursday, October 6, 2011
Cast: Zayed Khan, Dia Mirza, Cyrus Sahukar, Tisca Chopra, Satyadeep Mishra, Pallavi Sharda
Directed by Sahil Sangha
Rating: **
There are some movies that are not a surprise, especially joy, or entertain, but provide little to complain about. "Love Breakups Zindagi" (LBZ), the title seem like a lazy excuse for a writer, but this is exactly the type of film. The sound is still not very appetizing. In order to explore a bit like a relationship movie. There is adultery, but not in the bubble.
To shoot a couple of bored easily in their respective relationships. Delhi boy, Jai (Zayed Khan) plays a girl tormented boy who is a female dictator, and a very picky and fussy one at that. But his only complaint: "It is an attractive, successful, etc. But the sea ghanti baji nahin!" This is a Delhi-speech ". I'm dedicated, but I'm still looking" Mumbai girl, Naina (Dia), however, is the most predictable boyfriend: career-oriented, successful, busy and not NOK time for him.
Now you're thinking that Jai must comply with Naina and they need to understand how great this movie, or they can be themselves and each other. Fortunately, planning a friend of Arjun (Mishra Satyadeep) to get hitched with Naina's best friend, Gayatri (Auritra Ghosh) and the opportunity presents itself. Attends a week of wedding Jai Govind cocky sidekick (Sahukar Cyrus) who provide us with an uncomfortable sense of humor and reprieve the forecast track. Govind's love for a friend of the family on a slant over the wedding, turns Sheila (Tisca Chopra) to be strangely sweet, and loves more than a few out. Many naach-gaana, drinking and festivities, and later, Jai Naina shot back to reality as they go back to their partners. And as impossible as it seems, that they meet again, the inevitable is inevitable. So when a few pages of the script could have fed the dog, we could have left the screen without a power nap.
If cliches can be converted into money, LBZ compete with the World Bank. Naina mother's advice to the original point of dichotomy, "Wahi the tumhara DIL kehta hai Karo!" Which basically means to ignore the other organs. Jai Govind, and then we have a bitching session, concludes, "Women: Can not live with them. Can not live without them!" I am convinced that we can live without this line. And if the lines are NOK, we can treat stereotypes: ice breakup.
Zayed and Dia cumulatively don't score a single point for their performances. Cyrus' unwarranted confidence comes from playing peculiar characters in the past and Tisca Chopra takes home the title of the 'most charming aunty'. Boman Irani's cameo is refreshing but Shah Rukh Khan's is tacky as he offers pearls of wisdom like, "Jo dil mein hain woh keh do." The music won't stay with you for longer than you exit the screen and the other technical staff doesn't produce anything worth highlighting. It could be that you were lulled into a sleepy feeling or that every time a scene was about spill over, an unusual drift would save it. So LBZ is just the kind of movie that you can watch but not recommend.

Ali Zafar : I wish I was Katrina Kaif
Saturday, September 10, 2011
Ali Zafar Pakistani music star who made her acting debut in Bollywood flick, Welcome to Bin Laden, was last year a taste of mainstream cinema, with Yashraj's 'sea' Brother Ki Dulhan (launched today) is parallel to the role of actors Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif. A soft, romantic look and a good screen presence, Ali Zafar, who is in love with India and shopping, the movie a little over the top. Tete-a-Tete with singer-actress.
I play Luv. Luv-Kush is d (Imran Khan), an older brother, and they have a very interesting relationship to each other. They are so honest with each other, but there will be a bit formal equation between the two. Luv is a bit strong, a bit flashy, has a lot of history has not been a good relationship with your girlfriends. My character is very strange that he is a fun, playful and at times confused and focused. He is also a very flashy, and playboyish ekstraverdid while Kush is obedient and introvert. Luv is a great equations of his brother, but he did not throw his weight around because he is older, but she is also quite honest with Kush. He asks his brother to find a girl for him when he broke his girlfriend, but she is confused about a girl wants to marry.
What was your experience with the film?
It is important to me most is the people around me who work in the project. Even when I did "" Welcome Bin Laden, "" The people working on the film was very nice and warm and I am still in contact with most of them. They have lots of friends and I visit it often. When I visit India I will be sure to meet them. I felt the same way as you work, "" Mere Brother Ki Dulhan "and therefore had a lot of fun. Good thing I most people. Here, the difference was that this was really a great setup Yash Raj Films. It was all available in the house. Editing suites dubbing suite, recording studio .. Everyone in the house, the atmosphere was great. For the first time I came into the studio, there was some peace and quiet.
Can identify with the character you play?
Signs are anything like me in real life, and that is why I really enjoyed doing it. Character is over the top, while I am a sober person. I got some very good lines to say. Body language was hard, I had to change the pitch of my voice. There is much humor in certain scenes. I experimented quite a lot. Sometimes I wish the director when I was over acting. But Ali said "no" because it was a sign. The director knows his character best. We as players have to deliver what the director is looking for so I am trying to do.
And what about Katrina and having his own CoStar Imran?
What can I say, Katrina? Everything is so fond of their own because of his good character. What I really like is that he is very hardworking and professional, highly classified, if it is his job and he is very intelligent. I think this is a very important film of his, and I think it's his movie, so how it is depicted, it is really awesome. Working with him is always memorable for me. We had lots of fun while shooting. I am very pleased that the work of artists such as Imran. I was so comfortable. He is a very humble person. So he had a lot of interesting facts to share, and apparently I had many interesting conversations with him.
What do you think is the USP of the film? Why should you go and see "," Mere Brother Ki Dulhan '"?
I am sure that when you go to the theater, and you can not get houseful term, there will be a long queue outside. You will definitely find people whistling, clapping, laughing .. people will surely enjoy and spread the word among their friends, so it should not be missed (laughs).
What was your experience of director Abbas Ali Zafar?
In the beginning I had told him that I would act as a natural. I would be very sober and soft. The director would tell me to raise one note, I would do it .. and he will say it again to lift the two notes. He asks me to put more energy into my performance. I took about 10 to 12 days to put more spark and brightness. Then began to reverse the strategy so much that I had to tone down, and the director had to say about 'Ali, control, control .. There are way too high .. "
You are a musician first, how you like to shoot the songs?
If you want me to act, make sure that there is no musical instrument to keep me around because then I can be quite confusing. So time to shoot the songs, tabla and harmonium to be around me and I get so excited. It was really tempting me to play these instruments. As soon as the scene would end, I would start to entertain people. I would start to sing. And I think that if you operate will need to keep the mood light and enjoy with your co-stars. We would be so much fun in the evenings.
And what do you think of this music from the movie? Besides, what was your experience with Madhubani song?
Music is a very important element in the film and the director must have a good sense of music. Ali is that quality in him. Music director of the film is a youth named Sohail Sen and he is amazing. I remember the song "" Madhubani "" .. Director sent me an mp3 via e-mail and I just loved it. Both the director and I are big fans of Kishore Kumar, and thus we have the movie song Mere Pyaari Bindu. Sohail Sen has a very sophisticated music, commercial film .. Also there are different genres of music is rock song Katrina, where he is shown playing a guitar. I wish there was Katrina, and had played.
We decided to shoot outdoors in the summer in June-July, Madhubani, and we wanted to stop shooting for 4-5 days. I am not a good actor and good dancer. I practiced the dance for two days. Thanks to choreographers Bosco-Caesar, they taught me to shake my hands and feet. It was great fun to shoot the song, so we have all had bhaangwhile shooting it. But it was hard, we would shoot in the morning and once the shooting had come over about 7:00 p.m., we were dead tired, completely, and then the next day would begin practicing. But now we are young we could do it, do not expect me to do it after 20 to 25 years.
Latest Bollywood movie Review : Mere Brother Ki Dulhan
Friday, September 9, 2011
Cast: Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ali Zafar, Kanwaljeet Singh, Parikshat Sahni
Directed by: Ali Abbas Zafar
Rating:**
YRF also has something to tell the cultural bankruptcy of the wafer-thin plot formula that made it a powerhouse in the last century has increased the 2011th "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan limits self-parody in many ways: NRI brother (Ali Zafar) in London, breaks up with her boyfriend, calls her brother (Imran Khan), insisted that there must be married to a good Indian girl in July brother goes to the bride-hunt only to realize that future girlfriend (Katrina Kaif),
a subsidiary of the Indian Foreign Service officer (which I think is a legitimate Katrina is a strange Hindi accent Kaif, Kalki era of exotic heroines), is someone he had met with wild gal who held an impromptu concert in the band of delirious fans more Agra.
All other details, which gives the great Indian wedding has been thrown at you: Kanwaljeet and Parikshit Sahni and their spouses to play in-laws-to-be, the North Indian bumchums hang from the protagonist's childhood in a wheelchair naaniji slips by every now and then.
The bride to be is even more demented brother (along the lines of Dustin Hoffman in "Rainman" / Tom Hanks in "Forrest Gump"), which has a year-round and play Rubik's cube in sentences, staccato worn.
Through the wedding time, to Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif realize they are in love with each other, despite the incest connotations. Soon a slow guy, country bumpkin friends and lovers of the man's ex, conspire to break this upcoming wedding. It takes more than two hours, that's the plan come to fruition if you are pretty much as Katrina is crazy guy in this movie.
Everyone has the whole movie is resolutely hi-energy, Ranveer Singh, the success of 'Band Baaja Baraat "to play any role in this" Let us all act like we have shot down ten Red Bulls' acting school. Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and both exude an incredible screen presence and undeniable charisma, unless they are forced gags that can best be described as un-fun. Has to its credit, the film somewhat bearable, even cliches like the plague it from beginning to end. Ali Zafar's too polite to be added to an appropriate idyllic twang with smugness.
Aside from the cloying stupidity of the company, two important factors make the film a no-brainer: why imagine that a reasonably well-educated young people would jump at the risk of destroying your marriage, it just life? Although all technology that represents the "younger generation" are carefully highlighted (Ali Zafar boyfriend is the opening sequence of the film shattered LCD TV, Ali, and their marriage Kaif interview over Skype),
the movie does not capture the pulse of independence to the younger generation. Secondly, do you not feel empathy towards the characters are so insouciantly trying to destroy his life and that of their close them. While "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" incest is bad NOK for the future in India, predicts the future of Indian cinema is much worse.
Movie review : Seven Days in Utopia
Saturday, September 3, 2011
"Seven Days in Utopia" is based on the inspirational best seller in 2009, David Cook, who takes over the title "Golf is a Sacred Journey:. Seven days links utopia" If you thought that golf movie "The Legend of Bagger Vance" was a huge bunch of momentum-ha, you have not seen anything yet.
I used to think baseball was a sport that people all over the dreamy, mysterious, but now I'm not so sure. I have never understood what's so spiritual about whacking the ball, but then again I'm not a golfer, there are a miniature variety. "Seven Days in Utopia," Of course, like most sports movies, higher aspirations, more than a sport to try to place themselves in the film. And lo and behold, it is - sort of.
Luke Chisholm (Lucas Black) is excellent with Martinet Texas golfer's father (Joseph Lyle Taylor) forces him to the brink. When you play badly, while Luke is the collapse of the tournament, he escapes and ends up stranded in the car a rural utopia, pop. Three hundred seventy third has been a wing-friendly, avuncular Johnny, played by Robert Duvall, who can do such things in his sleep, but fortunately it does not. Ex-golfer in his own case, of course, Johnny spends a week to live in the past, before you send it back to the world of Luke wiser colleagues.
Johnny destroyed his career and his marriage with a drink, but he has risen above it all. He chairs the emotions, not to think about, preaching the doctrine of Authority - "see it, feel it, trust it." The film pretty much the same. If you think about it too long you will collapse in giggles or groans, but it is expertly touchy-feely, and it gets you in the end. It is much more cornball - ie a nice - if "Tree of Life", someone who tried the same things. Utopia, could be his big blue sky and the peachy-loving man, not rank right up there with Shangri-La, but it is close to NOK.
Johnny is a familiar archetype of the country - an old Coot as sage. Its unusual for Luke to improve your golf game - take him to paint pictures, send it up and cut the engine prop plane - is that Johnny is the first to admit, is really life improvement. And even if he is not a Holy Roller type defender Johnny reveals a highly religious. If the wisdom to step down, he presents the Bible together, and Luke reminds him that God and his purpose "is all around us." Spiritual Undertow back from most of the films, even this small amount of clear religiosity. It is refreshing to Johnny, and the movie, do not pull any punches. At But winning is not everything Johnny preachments ring a little hollow movie that otherwise all your efforts, it seems to be about, well, win.

Friday, September 2, 2011
Rajnikanth Salman Khan appears as a blonde, media professionals and industry observers said Abhijit Mhamunkar, because the two-day gathering of Salman Khan's bodyguard raked around Rs 38.7 crore.Despite film is wrong, says Mhamunkar that it goes well, because "the movie Salman have people go to watch a movie that Rajnikanth Salman Khan so no complaints from hardcore fans. Moreover, people do not hate the movie is a flop or they're talking about the movie. "
He explains further: "Salman Khan is a film critic-proof people need not wait for the reviews and then go see their movies, they wait for the release of the movie each have a number of approximately 27, 19 and 21 show screen displays in each guard is well ... planned strategy, all that goes to the theater a ticket they look at it. "The first two days were public holidays in the film's release. The first Eid was. As the Muslim month of Ramzan to avoid the theater, they are eager to see a movie, not just a movie, but any film with Salman, after that. If this is a film with Salman Khan Eid, it's like a cherry icing.
"The decline begins today, Friday actually, it has already started today -.. Morning, afternoon, has been around 30 to 40 per cent fall this is not a big loss, but it is significant in relation to the last two day, "says Mhamunkar. The assessment of RS 100 crore to pay the first weekend, it seems difficult now, but on the other hand, the next two days are weekend sales could good.Irrespective financial performance of the film, the star remains undamaged. His last film, "Salman played the smart, stylish, larger than life character. Here he plays a single, love, down to earth and genuine character."
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Singham, and the biggest hits this year so far, but is Mhamunkar guess is that Bodyguard will surpass them. "Singham earned Rs 100 crore, but it was the theaters long, so it took a long time to earn as much money. Bodyguard But growth is rapid, because there are more than Singham."
The only film that could compete with Shah Rukh Khan Bodyguard Ra.One Mhamunkar as saying, SRK is a good strategist and bomb the cinema with a lot of print, and also because of that "although Salman Khan is a huge fan following in India, it is not as big as Shah Rukh Khan, who is also a fan following among NRIs. His last film My Name is Khan did not do well in India, but it was a big hit abroad. "
