Italian carmaker Fiat Tuesday launched a new version of the Punto hatchback and Linea sedan priced between Rs 4.81 lakh to 6.71 lakh and 6.83 lakh RS RS 9.18 lakh respectively (ex-showroom Delhi).
Both cars are available in petrol and diesel variants, sports
longer wheelbase and greater ground clearance with an improved air-conditioning.
"The new version, and get feedback from customers better comfort and technology upgradation," Rajeev Kapoor, president and CEO, Fiat India Automobiles, told reporters the launch of new variants.
The new Linea has rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, and a better climate.The company said it aims for a stand-alone 22 saloon car Fiat Caffe ', dealers, Tata Motors is in the coming years.
"We will grow and 22 stand-alone showroom to open in the coming years. This happens because some of our existing showrooms, we share with Tata Motors' does not exist in space," says Kapoor.
According to Kapoor, part of the Fiat cars in showrooms, a separate workshop.
"Some stores are also workshops, but the available power of a workshop full of both Tata and Fiat cars. Showrooms will cater to the Fiat car."
Under the joint venture agreement (JV) between Fiat Group and Tata Motors, the two companies share marketing and real estate services.
Kapoor added that the company has a B-segment hatchback car market in India plans a series of specific Indian conditions to launch.
"We want to launch a sub-Indian car market, India is the character of our international deal," Kapoor added.
