NEW YORK (AP) - Steve Jobs, Apple has a memorial service Sunday at Stanford University.Invitations gone through Silicon Valley luminaries and other people close to Jobs, reported The Wall Street Journal. Apple told the newspaper that evening event has been private.Calls Associated Press seeking details about the incident Saturday, Stanford will not be returned.
Apple has said, not public service planned.Jobs, who was the founder of Apple Inc., and the brain behind the popular gadgets like the iPhone and the iPad, died on Oct. 5 at the age of 56 after years of fighting pancreatic cancer.
A small private funeral was held a week ago, the Journal reported. Apple also plans to staff an event Wednesday at its headquarters in Cupertino, Calif.
