Samsung announces India’s first Mango phone

Samsung has confirmed its commitment to multi-pronged strategy to give the three phones on the market powered by Android, Phone and Bada Windows software.

Omnia W, sports modern design with a metallic finish, comes with a 3.7-inch screen SuperAMOLED. It has a 5MP camera and a 1.4 GHz processor. Omnia is priced at Rs W 19990th phone should be available in the first week of November.


Microsoft claims the latest version of Windows 7 Phone - Mango - has been developed to provide an easy and socially connected to the smartphone experience. It sports a new browser based on Internet Explorer and has a tight Twitter, Facebook integration and Bing.


Samsung claims that it has enhanced the experience of Windows phone, including the inclusion of a set of productivity apps such as Samsung's exclusive AllShare, ensuring smooth transfer of the contents of the smart phone and other DLNA-enabled devices such as HDTV and digital cameras.
