Ali Zafar : I wish I was Katrina Kaif

Saturday, September 10, 2011

Ali Zafar Pakistani music star who made her acting debut in Bollywood flick, Welcome to Bin Laden, was last year a taste of mainstream cinema, with Yashraj's 'sea' Brother Ki Dulhan (launched today) is parallel to the role of actors Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif. A soft, romantic look and a good screen presence, Ali Zafar, who is in love with India and shopping, the movie a little over the top. Tete-a-Tete with singer-actress.

I play Luv. Luv-Kush is d (Imran Khan), an older brother, and they have a very interesting relationship to each other. They are so honest with each other, but there will be a bit formal equation between the two. Luv is a bit strong, a bit flashy, has a lot of history has not been a good relationship with your girlfriends. My character is very strange that he is a fun, playful and at times confused and focused. He is also a very flashy, and playboyish ekstraverdid while Kush is obedient and introvert. Luv is a great equations of his brother, but he did not throw his weight around because he is older, but she is also quite honest with Kush. He asks his brother to find a girl for him when he broke his girlfriend, but she is confused about a girl wants to marry.

What was your experience with the film?

It is important to me most is the people around me who work in the project. Even when I did "" Welcome Bin Laden, "" The people working on the film was very nice and warm and I am still in contact with most of them. They have lots of friends and I visit it often. When I visit India I will be sure to meet them. I felt the same way as you work, "" Mere Brother Ki Dulhan "and therefore had a lot of fun. Good thing I most people. Here, the difference was that this was really a great setup Yash Raj Films. It was all available in the house. Editing suites dubbing suite, recording studio .. Everyone in the house, the atmosphere was great. For the first time I came into the studio, there was some peace and quiet.

Can identify with the character you play?

Signs are anything like me in real life, and that is why I really enjoyed doing it. Character is over the top, while I am a sober person. I got some very good lines to say. Body language was hard, I had to change the pitch of my voice. There is much humor in certain scenes. I experimented quite a lot. Sometimes I wish the director when I was over acting. But Ali said "no" because it was a sign. The director knows his character best. We as players have to deliver what the director is looking for so I am trying to do.

And what about Katrina and having his own CoStar Imran?

What can I say, Katrina? Everything is so fond of their own because of his good character. What I really like is that he is very hardworking and professional, highly classified, if it is his job and he is very intelligent. I think this is a very important film of his, and I think it's his movie, so how it is depicted, it is really awesome. Working with him is always memorable for me. We had lots of fun while shooting. I am very pleased that the work of artists such as Imran. I was so comfortable. He is a very humble person. So he had a lot of interesting facts to share, and apparently I had many interesting conversations with him.

What do you think is the USP of the film? Why should you go and see "," Mere Brother Ki Dulhan '"?

I am sure that when you go to the theater, and you can not get houseful term, there will be a long queue outside. You will definitely find people whistling, clapping, laughing .. people will surely enjoy and spread the word among their friends, so it should not be missed (laughs).

What was your experience of director Abbas Ali Zafar?

In the beginning I had told him that I would act as a natural. I would be very sober and soft. The director would tell me to raise one note, I would do it .. and he will say it again to lift the two notes. He asks me to put more energy into my performance. I took about 10 to 12 days to put more spark and brightness. Then began to reverse the strategy so much that I had to tone down, and the director had to say about 'Ali, control, control .. There are way too high .. "

You are a musician first, how you like to shoot the songs?

If you want me to act, make sure that there is no musical instrument to keep me around because then I can be quite confusing. So time to shoot the songs, tabla and harmonium to be around me and I get so excited. It was really tempting me to play these instruments. As soon as the scene would end, I would start to entertain people. I would start to sing. And I think that if you operate will need to keep the mood light and enjoy with your co-stars. We would be so much fun in the evenings.

And what do you think of this music from the movie? Besides, what was your experience with Madhubani song?

Music is a very important element in the film and the director must have a good sense of music. Ali is that quality in him. Music director of the film is a youth named Sohail Sen and he is amazing. I remember the song "" Madhubani "" .. Director sent me an mp3 via e-mail and I just loved it. Both the director and I are big fans of Kishore Kumar, and thus we have the movie song Mere Pyaari Bindu. Sohail Sen has a very sophisticated music, commercial film .. Also there are different genres of music is rock song Katrina, where he is shown playing a guitar. I wish there was Katrina, and had played.

We decided to shoot outdoors in the summer in June-July, Madhubani, and we wanted to stop shooting for 4-5 days. I am not a good actor and good dancer. I practiced the dance for two days. Thanks to choreographers Bosco-Caesar, they taught me to shake my hands and feet. It was great fun to shoot the song, so we have all had bhaangwhile shooting it. But it was hard, we would shoot in the morning and once the shooting had come over about 7:00 p.m., we were dead tired, completely, and then the next day would begin practicing. But now we are young we could do it, do not expect me to do it after 20 to 25 years.

Latest Bollywood movie Review : Mere Brother Ki Dulhan

Friday, September 9, 2011

Cast: Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ali Zafar, Kanwaljeet Singh, Parikshat Sahni
Directed by: Ali Abbas Zafar
Rating:**

YRF also has something to tell the cultural bankruptcy of the wafer-thin plot formula that made it a powerhouse in the last century has increased the 2011th "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan limits self-parody in many ways: NRI brother (Ali Zafar) in London, breaks up with her boyfriend, calls her brother (Imran Khan), insisted that there must be married to a good Indian girl in July brother goes to the bride-hunt only to realize that future girlfriend (Katrina Kaif),

a subsidiary of the Indian Foreign Service officer (which I think is a legitimate Katrina is a strange Hindi accent Kaif, Kalki era of exotic heroines), is someone he had met with wild gal who held an impromptu concert in the band of delirious fans more Agra.

All other details, which gives the great Indian wedding has been thrown at you: Kanwaljeet and Parikshit Sahni and their spouses to play in-laws-to-be, the North Indian bumchums hang from the protagonist's childhood in a wheelchair naaniji slips by every now and then.

The bride to be is even more demented brother (along the lines of Dustin Hoffman in "Rainman" / Tom Hanks in "Forrest Gump"), which has a year-round and play Rubik's cube in sentences, staccato worn.

Through the wedding time, to Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif realize they are in love with each other, despite the incest connotations. Soon a slow guy, country bumpkin friends and lovers of the man's ex, conspire to break this upcoming wedding. It takes more than two hours, that's the plan come to fruition if you are pretty much as Katrina is crazy guy in this movie.

Everyone has the whole movie is resolutely hi-energy, Ranveer Singh, the success of 'Band Baaja Baraat "to play any role in this" Let us all act like we have shot down ten Red Bulls' acting school. Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and both exude an incredible screen presence and undeniable charisma, unless they are forced gags that can best be described as un-fun. Has to its credit, the film somewhat bearable, even cliches like the plague it from beginning to end. Ali Zafar's too polite to be added to an appropriate idyllic twang with smugness.

Aside from the cloying stupidity of the company, two important factors make the film a no-brainer: why imagine that a reasonably well-educated young people would jump at the risk of destroying your marriage, it just life? Although all technology that represents the "younger generation" are carefully highlighted (Ali Zafar boyfriend is the opening sequence of the film shattered LCD TV, Ali, and their marriage Kaif interview over Skype),

the movie does not capture the pulse of independence to the younger generation. Secondly, do you not feel empathy towards the characters are so insouciantly trying to destroy his life and that of their close them. While "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" incest is bad NOK for the future in India, predicts the future of Indian cinema is much worse.
