Is Hyundai Eon Break the Market of the Maruti Alto, A-Star ?

BANGLAORE: Eon Hyundai, Korea has launched a new small car with big car on Thursday, has set fire to the small car segment in India. Its affordable price, ranging between Rs 2.69 lakh and Rs 3.71 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the car seems to be confronted with other brands in this segment, namely, Maruti Alto and Star, Brio Honda, Chevrolet Spark and Tata Indica. 

Sensing competition Maruti Suzuki has recently limited editions of the highest selling brand Alto, Alto Xplore a new name. This is a car loaded with new features such as advanced double-DIN car stereo with Bluetooth and USB, the new body graphics, exterior mirrors (ORVMs) and sporty roof spoiler. 

Alto is priced between Rs 2.32 lakh and Rs 3.17 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and is the best selling car, an average of about 20,000 units per month. 

Alto, with 3.47 lakh cars sold in the last financial year, with about 16% of all cars sold in India and the best-selling car model on the planet, the angular Volkswagen Gol and Golf and Fiat Punto. Hyundai aims to sell 1.5 lakh units a year, Eon, an ambitious goal of lukewarm car market, taking into account the Alto took almost four years after launch, to reach this level of unit sales. 

Eon has been launched in six variants - D-Lite D-Lite (O), Era, Magna, Magna (O) and Sportz. Top-end version comes with features like music system, driver's airbag, central locking, air conditioning, electric windows and power steering.

Latest Car Review : Nissan Sunny

Music is a basic system, sans Bluetooth or USB support. 

These small errors, but is overshadowed by the best security devices in its class. Available in XE, XL and XV, and offers Sunny ABS, EBD, brake assist driver air bag, and all three variants. Common options for providing passenger airbags, air conditioning, remote-mounted mirrors and power-adjusted. As Micra, XV, keyless entry and push the start / stop button and 15-inch alloy wheels. 

Another feature worth mentioning, is behind the comfort of a two-speed fan that draws cool air from the cabin, and advertise it in the back seat. 

Road Test 

Behind the wheel, Sunny impress your smooth, quiet ride and is good at challenging roads. Overall, it is difficult to think of the box, Nissan Sunny, do not cross. Timing is everything when it comes to a successful car launches - so it will be to introduce a sort unfortunate Nissan Sunny hot on the heels of rising gasoline prices. And it gives us hope for a long time before the diesel option, although Nissan is now on the mother.
